Arabia Moomin mug Ancestor was finally launched in 2016, Moomin mug collectors had hoped for this mug for a while.
The Moomin character on this black Moomin mug might be unfamiliar to some. Small and hairy character that looks a little bit like Moomin? Yes, that is The Ancestor. He is, well surprise surprise, an ancestor of Moomintroll.

75th Anniversary stamp Moomin mugs
In 2020, Arabia celebrated the Moomins’ 75th anniversary year with a special collection of the Classic mugs with a special golden-colored bottom stamp. These mugs were only sold from 7th of August 2020 until the end of year 2020. Besides the stamp, the mugs look exactly like the original versions.
