This new dark red Moomin mug is called Festive Moments. It is part of a larger Festive Moments Moomin collection. Besides ceramics if also includes Moomin textiles for the kitchen. The limited collection will be for sale until March 2026.
If you think that the Moomins look a little different or weird on it, that is because the original artwork is from the novel Finn Family Moomintroll from 1948. So it is one of the early Moomin designs by Tove Jansson.
This mug was also pre-announced in the Moomin mug book alongside Ice Swimming mug.

All Moomin Arabia Moomin mugs 1990-2025
This book was made in collaboration with Moomin Arabia and Moomin Characters in 2025.
It features all Arabia Teema shaped mugs. It tells about the history and design process of Moomin mugs.
Both English and Finnish versions were made of the book. The english version includes a mini Moomin day 2025 mug, that could not be bought separately.
