Just like the Moomin’s Day mug in 2018, Arabia Moomin mug Moomin’s Day 2021 was sold only for a day, on Tove Jansson’s birthday 9th of August.
On the design of the mug you can see Moominmamma and Moomintroll sitting on the bridge, waiting for Snufkin to return after the winter. The mug had purchase limit of 6 mugs per customer.
The mug was sold with a cardboard box, similar to the box with Moomin’s Day 2018 mug.
Visor från Mumindalen
Visor från Mumindalen is a song book written by Tove Jansson, Lars Jansson and Erna Tauro. This collection of classic songs published in 1993 was inspired by Moomin characters. Illustrations from the song book were also used in Moomin’s day 2021 mug’s design.
