Arabia Moominvalley Park Japan was only sold in Moominvalley Park at Saitama, Japan. In 2022 it was also sold at Moomin online shop for a short period of time.
At the height of the pandemic in 2020, a new version of the mug was launched “1st Anniversary Moominvalley Park Japan mug“. It had the same illustration, but the bottom stamp was different. Since it was only sold in Japan during travel restrictions, that version of the mug is quite rare. It is valued currently 100 to 150€. 1st Anniversary version was sold with a tote bag, the original was sold with a cardboard box and the mug has a label as well.
Moominvalley Park Japan
The Moominvalley Park was opened in Hanno, Saitama, Japan in March 2019. Next to the Moomin theme park, there is “Metsä village”, an area with Finnish shops, restaurants and products. It has an interesting vibe, since you are in Japan, yet surrounded by Finnish items and even the signs are in Finnish! Check out a Video of Moominvalley Park Japan.
