Arabia Moomin mug Sea Breeze Platinum is a special version of the 2023 Moomin’s day mug.
The only way to obtain one of these was through a raffle online. Winning the raffle enabled you to buy this mug for 99,90€. A total of 5 000 numbered pieces were made, which makes this one of the few Moomin mugs that have had its production quantity disclosed by Arabia.
The serial number on each specific mug influences the mug’s valuation.
This mug is not dishwasher safe! So please be sure to wash it by hand.
Why Moomin’s Day 2023 is special?
2023 Moomin’s Day mug Sea Breeze was launched simultaneously with Sea Breeze Platinum on August 9th in 2023. The latter one was made to celebrate Arabia’s 150th anniversary, where as Moomin Day mugs celebrate Tove Janssons’ birthday.
The first Moomin’s Day mug was launched in 2018.
