Snufkin might have the most fans out of all the Moomin characters. On Snufkin’s character Moomin mug he is playing a flute and of course fishing.
Images on the mug are from Tove Jansson’s comics Moomin and Family Life and Conscientious Moomin and from her book Who Will Comfort Toffle. Tove Slotte combined the images from the sources to come up with the design on the mug.
Moomin cosplay
Snufkin is especially popular among cosplayers, maybe because Snufkin is thought to be the coolest character in Moomin by many. It could also be that it is easier to dress up as Snufkin than it is to dress up as Groke for example.
