These Moomin mugs were made to celebrate 150th anniversary of Stockmann. Arabia Moomin mug Stockmann caused a lot of havoc when it was launched. Stockmann’s online store put listed these mugs for sale too early by accident. After the mugs were officially launched it sold out quickly, but there was an additional patch of the mugs three months later. The additional patch had a buy limit of 6 per customer.

It is known that at least 25 000 of these Moomin mugs were manufactured.

The original artwork is from Stockmann’s wrapping paper Tove Jansson designed in the 50’s.
