Moomin Museum

The Museum is located at Tampere Hall, Yliopistonkatu 55, Tampere, Finland. The entrance fee is 18€ for adults and 9€ for children. It is the world’s only Moomin Museum. A lot of Moomin illustrations were donated by Tove Jansson in 1986. So besides the mugs they have a lot of other Moomin art as well. It opened in Tampere hall in 2017.

The Moomin mug exhibition

Moomin Mug Mania takes visitors into the fascinating world of Moomin mug collecting. Discover how these everyday mugs became treasured collectibles, why people are so passionate about them, and what makes some mugs particularly rare and desirable. The exhibition also explores the stories, emotions, and traditions that make collecting such a meaningful hobby.

It will take place during 26.9.2026–5.1.2028.

Muumimukit Rahaksi exhibition

There is another Moomin mug exhibition currently at display at Turku Ferry Terminal in Finland as well. Their exhibition has all Arabia Moomin mugs, but no other Moomin products.
