This yellow Moomin mug features a scared looking Moomintroll on it. His quote inside the mug states: “Oh, My Goodness!” Which probably has something to do with the crab grabbing Snorkmaiden’s tail on the back of the mug.
These POP collection Moomin mugs were launched on Moomin 80th anniversary in 2025 only in Japan.
Fun fact, Moomintroll appears on all of the Arabia POP Moomin mugs.
POP Moomin Mugs
These mugs hold 0.3 liters, the same capacity as Arabia’s classic Teema-shaped Moomin mugs.
However, unlike the traditional Moomin mugs, they feature a different material and a distinct design. These mugs belong to the Mainio collection, created by designer Irina Viippola.
The first four mugs from this series were launched in Japan in 2025.
There is a Moomin quote printed inside every POP Moomin mug.
