A bigger version of the Family Moomin mug was launched in 2024. Also a Moomin bowl that shares a similar design as the mug was released simultaneously with it.
The original Family Moomin mug was launched already in 2002 by Arabia Finland. The colorful design of this mug is based on the same original artwork. However, you can spot differences, not just in colors but also on the design. For example, the older version has Moominmamma and Moominpappa on the front, where as this newer one has Moomintroll and Snorkmaiden.
K-Market special Moomin mugs
Four 0,4l Moomin mugs were launched on 19th of August 2024 to be sold only in Finnish K-Markets. It was announced that this limited edition campaign lasts until 12th of January 2025. The production numbers are unknown. These new big mugs are: Moomintroll On Ice, Family, Snorkmaiden and Little My Sliding.
