This autumn colored 2026 Moomin’s Day Moomin mug got its design from Tove Jansson’s 1955 comic strip, Moomin’s Winter Follies. The characters on this mug are Moomintroll, Snorkmaiden, Moominpappa, Moominmamma and Shadow.

Usually Moomin Day mugs go for sale on the Moomin’s Day on 9th of August, but this one launches on 8th of August.

Tove Slotte

This is the last Moomin mug designed by Tove Slotte. She has designed most of the Arabia Moomin mugs, including the very first Arabia Moomin mug in 1990.

She was born in Turku, Finland in 1957. She started working for Arabia already in 1985.
