This is the third mug launched at the Moominvalley theme park in Japan. It features a special “MVP” stamp on the bottom.
The main characters on this mug are Snufkin and Moomintroll, who are fishing on the front. You can also spot Moominmamma, Moominpappa, Little My, and Snorkmaiden.
The design differs from the previous Japan Moomin mugs, and it was also sold in a different type of box than the earlier versions.
Did you know that this Moomin mug is also known as Simple Joy and that only 10,000 were made? It is one of the few Moomin mugs with a known production number.
Moominvalley Park Japan Moomin mugs
The first Moominvalley Park mug was launched on the opening day of the Moomin theme park in Saitama, Japan, in 2019.
The earlier Moominvalley Park mugs are known as Moominvalley Park Japan and Moominvalley Park Japan 2023. These two have similar designs but different color themes.
